My very first Harvest Monday

Here it is! A tad premature, but I ate it anyway! I left the other ones in the ground. Hopefully in the next couple of days they'll be ready!

  1. Looks pretty good to me! As quick as radishes are it shouldn't be long before you get more.

  2. I can't wait for my radishes to get big enough. I love the look of yours. Round and red is a favorite look, but I only planted the longer ones this year. White icicle will make for a boring photo, but I do love the flavor.

  4. Good for you! The first harvest is always the best, in my opinion.

  5. Beautiful! I like them at this stage. Very round and tiny. In fact, I'm pulling out my radishes because they got too big for my taste.

  6. Amy- Thanks! :)

villager- Thanks! This variety said it was supposed to mature in 18 days, but I'm pretty sure they've been in there for well over 30! Hopefully within the week the rest of them will be ready though!

Daphne- Thanks, these are the first radishes I've grown. If the white icicle ones taste exceptionally different, I'll have to try them! Let me know!

David- Good Luck with your radishes!

EG- It was definitely a sweet harvest :) I'm looking forward to the bowlfuls of tomatoes in July/August. Nice to finally have something growing again though!

Angela- Thanks! It still tasted like radish anyway... I hear the flavor isn't as great if you let them go too long.
